Now I just need to figure out how to get directly to the link. I’m getting closer.

I love sewing on the cheap! I mean utilizing donated or thrift shop or clearance fabric to make something truly valuable! Same with knitting, I particularly like to make baby things because I can use a small amount of yarn that can’t be much used for something else and make it useful.

When I mess up on the prayer vigil post, I click on “report abuse” to ask for help in corrections. You get very fast results that way.

I love repurposing fabrics from other outfits (or sheets) to make new items. You should show us your end result when it’s finished!

Cute! Next step is to do “share” at the top, which will bring you to “hotlink for website” as the last of the share options.

Thank you! I change the front porch decorations nearly every month. Right now I still have up my after-Christmas winter decorations, and I will probably change these out on my next nice day. Probably Sunday or Monday.

That’s really nice. I used to do that when I had a house I liked. July 4th was my favorite! I hate the house now and don’t care about decorating. Lipstick on a pig.

Oh, that toddler dress is precious!

I am quite old, but still have a little dress my grandmother made for me. A teddy bearess is wearing it now, and sits where I pass by every day. Thanks, Gran!

Thank you! They are made from cardboard which I covered with batting and then fabric. The branch is just hot glued to the back side and covered with more fabric to hide it. These are only outside for a month, and I store them in the basement, so they have held up for several years already. I have another version with shamrocks for a St. Patrick’s Day theme.

Also thanks for html sandbox link. Always good to have a refresher.

To: Diana in Wisconsin; All
I have a baby blanket to knit for a very special little guy who will be arriving the first week in May. All the "greats" (nieces & nephews) are special, but this one will be named after my dad (& his other grandpa, too).

The hunt has been on for a knitted baby blanket pattern I like - so far, this one is leading the pack ... main body should knit pretty quickly - the borders will be trickier, but are very pretty. I'm still looking around so there's a possibility I'll find something I like better.

Only a 16 page download - LOL! She must have instructions for every single row!

Thank you. I hadn’t given up. I just grew weary of getting it wrong. I knew my link was good, I just couldn’t get the <>\/img etc, etc in the proper order.

That’s beautiful! I never learned how to knit, and I’ve never been very good at crochet. Something I still plan on working on…one of these days.
