Here's a look at the 2023 nominees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Warren Zevon
Connie was the bestselling female artist from 1958-1963. When Beatlemania drove her out of the Top 40 charts, she switched to the "Adult Contemporary" format. In 1968, she recorded a campaign song for Richard Nixon in the Adult Contemporary style.
Alex Chilton should be in the Hall.
3 (or 4) out of 14 ain’t bad?
According to Wikipedia, Crow has sold 50 million albums. If album sales are a criteria for entry, that should certainly be good enough.
There is actually a Freeper in the R&R HoF, maybe considered an ex Freeper. From along time ago.
“Warren Zevon - Who?
Werewolves of London guy“
More one-hit wonders..
No Tull, no Guess Who, no Grand Funk Railroad, etc…
The RRHOF is such a farce.
I love Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights,” among others. I first saw her perform that on SNL when I was a teenager and had to have that album. I bought a couple more of hers in the 80s and was never disappointed. But “Wuthering Heights” has remained my favorite.
I’d vote The Spinners for the R&B Hall of Fame but I don’t consider them rock. They are my favorite R&B group
The rest…meh. Never even heard of a few.
Dolly P got inducted last time....
The efforts of the Wrecking Crew should be recognized. I'm guessing the R & R HOF might be reluctant because it would have to admit that many studio recordings of several HOF members were performed by the Wreaking Crew and not be the performers on the label.
If they keep nominating C & W artists, Glen Campbell should be nominated - he had several big cross-over hits. He might be a better guitarist than anyone already in the R & R HOF. Even ignoring his substantial contributions to the Wrecking Crew, he deserves it on his own merits if C & W performers continue to be included.
Because there are already several Motown acts in the R & R HOF, the Spinners should be in, too.
As well as The Funk Brothers, and The Swampers.
Until Tull is enshrined, I’m not only boycotting the bogus RRHoF, I am boycotting Cleveland. I am boycotting the entire State of Ohio.
The exclusion of Tull is blatant racism against Druids, Agrarian inclined individuals, and those of us who are too old to rock and roll, but too young to die.
Iron Maiden and Warren Zevon have bonafides that should have put them in there at least as far back as the 1990s if not earlier. The others are all has-beens. RIP Warren, you Excitable Boy.
Supertramp ought to be in also. Jann Wenner sucks.
>> The Outlaws
>> The Charlie Daniels Band
>> The Marshall Tucker Band
Absolutely. Always great beer-drinking’-down-by-the-river-with-friends music!
Supertramp for “Breakfast In America” alone. The soundtrack of the summer of 1979 for me.
Literally and figuratively.
I didn’t want to be too obvious.
Ian was a hell of a flute player.
Locomotive Breath.
