Stefanik said she will demand answers from the Feds about a limousine company — whose owner was an FBI informant — responsible for an upstate crash that killed 20.
In the Oct. 6, 2018 disaster in Schoharie, N.Y., near Albany, a limo, packed with young partygoers en route to a brewery for a surprise birthday, careened into a parked car before barreling into a ravine.
It was the deadliest US transportation accident in a decade...
The doomed vehicle lacked both federal and state certifications. The car had been retrofitted with 12 feet of extra carriage added to the middle. It had failed numerous spot roadside inspections and has been ordered off the road by the Department of Transportation. Its brakes failed on the day it crashed. Limo driver Scott Lisinicchia, who was killed in the accident, had twice been busted on drug charges in the previous eight years.
It was later revealed that Shahed Hussain, 66, the owner of Prestige Limousine Chauffeur Service, was an FBI informant since 2002 — after he was nabbed for running a scam to help drivers cheat on DMV tests. In 2003 he helped the agency convict an Albany Imam in a sting operation to disrupt a scheme to sell a surface-to-air missile to terrorists in Pakistan. In 2009 he was an informant in a terrorist bomb plot targeting two synagogues in Riverdale and an Air National Guard base.
“The FBI makes it clear to informants that any time there’s any run-in with any type of law enforcement or a government agency, they have to be forthcoming to the FBI,” Stefanik said. “So the FBI, I believe, knew about all of these … run-ins with the law and they did nothing. So they have culpability in this deadly limousine crash.”

America’s KGB
Its not about “law enforcement.” Its about knowing and controlling everything that happens in the realm
Wow! An ASSAULT LIMO involved in a mass crashing.
Sounds like a pretty productive informant.
What does Stefanik think the FBI is culpable for?
“In 2003 he helped the agency convict an Albany Imam in a sting operation to disrupt a scheme to sell a surface-to-air missile to terrorists in Pakistan.”
I wonder, did said SAM actually exist or was it a total fabrication by...someone?

Busy guy.
Maybe twenty dead, young Americans? The other supposed cases may or may not have been actual plots, since the FBI is telling the tales.
If the FBI’s going to start losing its Islamic terror informants over their “knowledge of the carrier’s multiple out-of-service violations and lack of operating authority, as well as the department’s inadequate repair verification process” I don’t think I’ll feel any safer.
Is it really that hard to pass a DMV test without cheating?
At this point, it doesn't matter. I welcome any investigation that puts the FBI in the hot seat. You never know what other info might be discovered that the FBI was involved with. It could help uncover their methods of treachery.
Don’t believe anything the FIB tells you...............
Sadly, the families of these victims will probably never see justice for this. As with this and all the other investigations, the FJB administration and all the accessories, know all they have to do is ignore the House subpoenas for two years.
Walk in the park for them . . .
I don’t trust the FBI to tell the truth of much of anything they are doing with informants.
Hey, the FBI has been as honest with us as this felon has been with them.
No wait, that felon committed many many fewer lies and felonies than did the Famously Bungling Idiot group.
Someone from the agency will smile and nod when queried. The agency appreciates her questions. Someone will tell the gentle lady that the agency shares her concerns. Someone from the agency will assure her the investigation has been thorough. Someone from the agency will adjust his glasses and offer heartfelt sympathy to the families of the lost on behalf of the agency. Someone will insist the American people can trust the agency to do its job.
Hussain, an FBI INFORMANT....what could POSSIBLY go wrong? /s
