hina's explosive COVID-19 outbreak appears to be outpacing private-sector predictions and high estimates from its own specialists, with one official placing the country's infection count at nearly double the current number of total cases worldwide.
In a social media post on the eve of the Lunar New Year on Saturday, Wu Zunyou, chief epidemiologist at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said the first nationwide wave had swept through roughly 80 percent of China's 1.41 billion people since early December.
Wu's estimate of 1.13 billion infections in just six weeks far exceeds the global case count of 669 million as of Wednesday, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University....
Airfinity, a British health analytics firm, said China was likely experiencing 4.55 million daily COVID infections and 35,780 daily deaths to the virus at the peak of the first wave....The company estimated that China had seen 919,000 cumulative COVID deaths since December 1, a figure that could eventually reach 1.7 million by the end of the current wave....

I don’t think this should surprise many of us. The Chinese locked people down for two years, with in adequate personal provisions. That’s going to physically weaken people.
The word vaccine is used only once in the article, in its plural form, in just one sentence.
And, boy, is that sentence a honey.

I highly doubt it, given, number one, China’s vax is very weak and number two, it’s been two years since their vax campaign. If ppl died within a 6 week span of vax 2 years ago, then most of the world would be dropping dead in the span of six weeks, too. Except they’re not. THey’re mostly not even going into hospitals anymore from covid.

China has shown some wisdom in this. I do not like em. I think they are evil incarnate, They said let it rip once COVID had been mutated to a demilitarized strain and allowed its populace to gain natural immunity. May the CCP rot in the pits of hell.

1 Million Deaths/1 Billion Cases = 0.1% fatality rate. China has a population of 1.4B which is 4x that of the US. Until 5 Million are dead, ( will the real number ever come out) this is propaganda at its best. Where is the cigarette smoking corpse from last time?

So your solution is keep vaxxing? It’s been known for two years that continuous vaxxing during an epidemic will drive natural selection and evolution of new variants. In the part of the Project Veritas tape where Walker isn’t just flirting, that is exactly what he’s saying and Robert Malone (see CTH for the Tucker Carlson interview)really lays it out. Only 33% of Americans have been boosted. The criminals you rely on, CDC etc., do a great job of hiding their data, but Comer needs to hammer them to release the data in that horse race, i.e. vaxxed /boosted (33%) vs not boosted (67%) for infection rate.

One observes that Newsweek is citing a British "a British health analytics firm" for their death extrapolations. And in doing so, Newsweek dismisses the once "official" Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center's report -- today, "91,204" deaths -- in favor of the British media company.
Placed in context, our CDC states a "Death rate: 1,027.0 deaths per 100,000 population" or about one percent of the population.

Worldometer tells the China population is 1,453,583,638.
One percent of the population dies away each year, such that China "normally" experiences about 14 1/2 million deaths a year.
Given the greater age of many Chinese that is merely a guesstimate. So is Airfinity, a media company vending its statistical products, as is Newsweek selling its articles and advertising.
A another comment notes: "You don't really believe stats coming out of China, do you?" A very apt question.
Given the precarious state of the worldwide media, of prominent wiggle words from Airfinity as reported by Newsweek of "likely" and "estimated" and "could," and of the trustworthiness of China itself as well as the Covid "industrial complex" as it reveals itself in interesting ways, the "news" of China is what exactly? "...a million deaths in six weeks?" One and one half months....
The number is not unreasonable, given that the normal mortality in China of about one percent yields 1.2 million deaths a month anyway, so this "fear" message is, as some rational comments have observed, "stats coming out of China" -- really Britain -- and "the cigarette smoking corpse" is not as much in evidence as Chicken Little would have us believe.
Time for another booster? After a number of boosters? Marketing, anyone?
People in China were dropping dead with Covid wholesale before the vaccines. I had a coworker from Wuhan. The 996 work life, smoking, horrible air quality were a contributing factor.
The factor now is the lockdown have reduced natural immunity from exposure
not going in hospitals or coffins yet!... not to pun the liberals and their seas that have not risen due to global warming... yet! argument.

I had zero immunity issue during confinement and after. For 2 years I had no issues until my government wmploying me finally forced the vaccine on me. But after tne vaccine I caught pneumonia twice and covid twice...
Covid is a virus. People were getting it long before the vaccine. It ran through the nursing homes here like wild fire. All the medical personnel were getting it. We had no natural immunity because it was a bioweapon from China. Over time, we got small amounts of exposure. By the time I got Covid (Sept 2022), it was a Cold. However, the virus carries the risk of heart damage so you have to fight it(Vitamin D3, Zinc, etc)
