Biden is only at 18%? Buttgig has a plurality in a crowded field?

Just wondering what’s going on here.

Could we really see a number of candidates against Biden, a contested nomination fight against an incumbent president?

Do Democratic voters really strongly oppose their own president?

Not at all. WAY to early for an open seat if Biden drops out. The big news is that few want Biden.

Newsom will certainly do better if he decides to throw his hat in. Sanders really IS too old this time. Biden will do better in SC.

Harris has a solid 2%, so the poll isn’t completely crazy. I’ve wondered whether Newsome would have any traction outside the West Coast — looks like in NH he’s a complete dud of Harris proportions. Overall this poll shows how weak the incumbent is. The Dem insiders are going to be start dreaming up a candidate fast — none of these will get them anywhere.

The only real choice will be between Hillary and Michele Obama.

Not a chance. Black voters can't stand him. They're not going to vote for a white, male homo.

Booty-Judge might be the least qualified democrat candidate aside from Kamala Harris.

White libs love him but there's some serious primaries that he'll have to contend in and black voters will absolutely have nothing to do with him.

Susan Rice has "gravitas" and would be fairly formidable if she were to run. Not that I WANT her to run.....

The only real choice will be between Hillary and Michele Obama.

Gretchen Whitmer will be the sleeper candidate. She's the Democrat's Ron DeSantis.

Hillary is finished.

Michelle Obama could win on nostalgia alone. Fortunately, it appears she has no political ambitions. And this is the Democrats' loss because, and do not kid yourself, her and her husband would march back into the White House like Sherman marched through Atlanta.

Please recall that South Carolina has been moved ahead of New Hampshire in the primary schedule (for Dems). James Clyburn will ensure his voters stay on Biden’s plantation. New Hampshire will thus be irrelevant, and Biden will begin with a lot of momentum.

It’s not surprising that neither Xiden nor Kameltoe are stupid and crazy enough for the DemonRATs.

Certainly more than Pete and some of the other candidates being considered. I guess I am not suprised about the results for Biden.

Yes you are spot on with your observation. Michele and Barack would be formidable. By herself, Michele, not so much.

Black voters will never vote for a gay candidate for anything. The MSM will never report on the rabid homophobia in the black community!

Looks like it may be Peter Buttplugg after all.

And Trump’s pro-homo positions and parties will serve as the perfect inoculation for Buttplugg on the issue, if those two are to meet.

I truly believe that if Michelle Obama was to show up on The View or some such show, she would absolutely enter front-runner status. Sixty percent of the country would jump up and cheer!

Hell, even DeSantis would lose. Republicans would be so demoralized, they might as well run Jeff Sessions for president.

I know FReepers hate her but out in the real world, Big Mike is one of the most highly respected women out there.

Plus, there's this deep desire to return to the pre-Trump/pre-Covid/pre-Biden status quo.

Let's just forget the last decade happened.

Michelle Obama could absolutely capitalize on this and it amazes me that she's just taking a back seat.
