Ha! Well the arts have generally had a more “progressive” bent. But the meaning of the word “progressive” has changed over the generations. And this, assuming you want to call most of the dreck put out by Hollywood “art”. Very little of it is art in my opinion. Sure it involves craftsmanship. Maybe that’s why grade school kids take “arts and crafts” lessons. But they let their egos confuse themselves into thinking craftsmanship is equivalent to art.
