Dolphins could make it work, but does Tua get released or is he willing to sit in the backup role for a year or two? Might be optimal for him, frankly. Meanwhile Teddy Bridgewater doesn't get another 1-year $10M contract. And he's
from Miami. Ouch. Although that helps the current $16M in salary cap space, might even be able to afford Gronk's return as 3rd-down specialist.
The other thing is Brady controls his own destiny in the AFC East. The Dolphins have a buttery soft schedule in 2024, he figures to pwn the Pats and the Jets, so if they win the head-to-heads with the Bills, the road is paved with gold, er, orange, aqua and blue.
