As California grappled with a mass shooting in Monterey Park over the weekend that left 11 people dead, within 48 hours, another gunman went on a shooting spree in Half Moon Bay, just under 400 miles away, killing at least seven people.
Within that short time span, four other mass shootings took place across the United States, with the number of shootings nationwide so far this year already outpacing the number of calendar days.
As of Tuesday, at least 39 mass shootings had unfolded across the country since the year began, according to the Gun Violence archive, a nonprofit that tracks the spread of what has been called an American disease and which defines a mass shooting as a single incident in which at least four people — other than the shooter — are shot.

On any weekend day, a typical gang-banger shooting in Chicago has a minimum of four victims.
Additionally, Chicago hasn't been a "gun free zone" for about a decade now. Please catch-up.
While I read about all the new anti gun laws being proposed and a lot of pontificating from the usual Democrat & Uniparty politicians, I did not see any mention in the article about enforcing the laws currently on the books.
But I guess that might cost them votes in some communities.

As the USA digs deeper to detrmine if the ‘Mass Shooting
Archive’ manages to keep better records than the National
Archives, why not expand the dig to determine how fearful
Deep State might be at this given moment? Judging from
what we have recently witnessed, will we soon be seeing a
white flag? Rainbow flag? Like the’Golden Voyage of Sinbad’,
Ray Harryhausen’s skeletons might be taken down but they continue to rise
up in order to fight again.
And all of this in a state which has every draconian gun restriction the libs can think of - and none of it made a difference.
I question the definition of mass shootings, but there is a real problem. It’s a gun and gun control problem. Not enough citizens have guns and they certainly don’t have the experience or training to control their guns in high stress situations so they can kill the shooters.
