Actually ACLS training is if you don’t feel a few ribs breaking you are doing it wrong. Broken ribs are usually a part of cpr although on someone young with good bone density they may not break. Usually those that survive resuscitation the biggest complaint is chest wall pain from the cpr. It is not a gentle process

I don’t think it’s at all funny when people jump to conclusions about the cause of someone’s death and use the death for their particular political point of view instead of offering a more human response.

If he had an aspiration pneumonia which fits with his post hospital course there is plenty of reason to still be on oxygen. You cannot universalize your experience to anyone else
