How greatly would this differ from a Mexico reclaiming Texas? Cause that’s being done right now.
I see by your Home Page that you have utter contempt for “REMFs.” Only a fool would make such a claim. Because without REMFs, blowhards would walk into battle in their underwear, unfed, unarmed, and unsupported. But, they can beat their chests and roar; and their enemy will laugh at them. Then kill them.
Every person in the military has a role, and all them contribute to the success of the mission. But, the vast majority are seldom if ever recognized or appreciated. It’s ironic, because these “heroes” treated the so-called REMFs with the same contempt the unwashed and surly “protesters” treated THEM, and the REMFs, as well (those protestors made no distinction: All they saw was the uniform).
Unless you were Audie Murphy, spare me your heroics.

Oh, I disagree. So many get the vapors and wax indignant and call for some sort of editorial intervention that one would think we are not in the US in 2023, but rather are in the USSR during the Cold War.
Especially the one after they drop a vacuum bomb near them.

Another foreign entanglement that are Founders warned us about. There is no imminent national security threat to the U.S.. Risking a larger war with Russia over Ukraine when we are broke is not wise.
Anyhow, “A tank armada”... Haha! When you see generals fighting like it was last war. Then you know they are about to lose.
A tank armada in World War II was powerful, but not so great today. Unless you have a lopsided war. This is because tanks are now top targets on the battlefield. They are so many different weapons that target tanks. To build an armada of armor up like that takes a lot of time, and they are about to run out of time.
The Russians are poised to attack in the next two weeks. This is due to the winter, the new moon and darkness in the night. My understanding is they have been massing to attack. At least those are the rumors.
It’s just delay tactic to keep ‘foreign aid’ (our tax dollars) flowing freely into Deep State coffers. Tanks have their own limited usefulness and are a ‘nice to have’ but not a game changer. But, they will be used to lie to us with false claims to get more of our money and keep the grift going. The DNC, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer et. al. are no doubt eager to make sure they get their cut.

That’s not how I remember it. And it’s not how a hell of a lot of combat troops remember it.

Yeah, well guess what? All those REMFs “just showed up,” too. And the very first thing they were told after they raised their hands and swore the oath, was “The needs of the (whichever branch of the service you found yourself in) are paramount; it is up to the (whichever branch of the service you found yourself in) to decide what you will be, what you will do, and where you will go.”
Truly good news!
This could very well be a game changer for Ukraine and its mission to defend itself and the West successfully. Ukraine and Europe’s freedom depends on the Ukrainian soldiers right now.

Your analogy simply replaces Mexico with Russia and Texas with the United States.
If Mexico invaded the United States and claimed Texas was back being part of Mexico, the United States would fight that
invasion by Mexico, and drive Mexico back across the border.
