Three teenage girls were arrested in connection to multiple fights at the Westfield Trumbull mall. Police say a 15-year-old girl was also charged with assaulting an officer after spitting on a trooper.
Officers were called to the Main Street shopping center Saturday night due to multiple reports of a large fight.
When officers arrived, they say they found large crowds of juveniles acting disorderly, loud, and disruptive. Additional officers were called to the mall from other agencies, including state police.
Police say the teenage girls who were arrested are 13, 14, and 15 years old.
All of the teens were charged with breach of peace after refusing to leave the scene of the fight.
The 15-year-old girl was also charged with assault on an officer for spitting on a trooper who was assisting with crowd control.
All three teens were later released to the custody of their guardians with a promise to appear in Bridgeport Juvenile Court on Jan. 24.

If it were 13%ers, I wouldn’t be surprised.

My dad was a copper in by gone days. If that bllxh spit on him I guarantee she would have needed a full set of front teeth and an ice pack for her head. If it were a guy he would come to in the ER. My dad was a sexist you see.
That they’re minors. The spitting and refusing to leave tells me everything I need to know.
I passed through Bridgeport CT once, fifteen years ago to get a ferry to the north shore of long Island.
