“As a lineman, he wouldn’t be eligible to catch the ball.”
I read last night - probably on Blogging the Boys - that Elliott could have caught the ball IF someone else caught it first and then passed/handed it off to him.

The Cowboy’s biggest problem is that Jerry doesn’t see the correlation between Dallas’ lack of success in post-season and the the tenure of Jerry’s ownership. With the exception of the initial 2-3 years where Dallas’ success was a carry-over from the previous ownership, JJ has created an environment wherein no really inspirational coaching leadership would want to join.
Much has to change before Dallas will have the success they had 30 years ago especially in the upper echelon of club ownership / management.
I believe that JJ is happy with the current situation wherein the team plays winning season football but are not post-season contenders. The “we’ll get em next year” attitude keeps the revenue stream from jerseys, TV revenue, and ticket sales flowing in.

That guy that tackled Mahommes in the Chiefs game tried to break his ankle too. You could see the guy throw his arms up at the end of the play as if to say he didn’t do nothin’.

Watching the Mahomes injury on video a few times makes me wonder. It appears the 2nd knee to the leg was on purpose.

What a wuss. I remember Rodney Harrison playing in a Super Bowl with a broken arm.
And Jack Youngblood played in Super Bowl XIV and got a sack on Bradshaw.

I was living in Dallas - Irving actually - when Jerry fired Jimmy. Fired a coach who had just put together a SB winning team 2 years in a row!
(After the shock wore off, the remnants of that team managed to win one more time 2 years later.)
I remember thinking: What arrogance! He just fired a head coach who won 2 consecutive SBs - the universe is not going to like this. !!
And it hasn't. There won't be any more SB wins until Jerry can no longer take credit for those wins.

Ezekiel Elliott He sucks. 2 yards up the middle every time. LOL
To: Hyman Roth
At least Walt Garrison could get you five yards if you needed it, and if you needed ten yards, he could get you five yards.
