You know, I’m a fan of old cop shows, but Adam-12 was set around 1970, so it’s not even that old relative to prohibition, and women generally look worse than any dad in a 90’s show. Hollywood did a real number on women, and now the land of casting couches has swung hard in the other direction by ridiculing men, which is also unhelpful.

What I’m referring to is news film and print news of the day. Women became MILITANT against the consumption of alcohol. This is well documented. They went as crazy ballistic in their demands back then as the women we refer to as Karens are doing today.
Unhinged, mostly white women who are totally driven by emotion with little to no thought given to their positions on an objective basis.
No consideration to the consequences whatsoever. Just manic demands on society without regard to the possible consequences.
Mindless total belief in their cause. And, mindless hatred for all who question them.
