What aggression from NATO towards Russia?=

Expanding to a Russian border. Including historical Russian lands taken from Russia by commies. It is a aggressive moves.

Russia many time warned that her patience isn’t unlimited and it will bring a war. So happened.

They’ve been annexed to NATO also? Cool. Even fewer allies for Russia.==

You playing with fire actually. SO childish and foolish. Those allies YOU will have to defend by your blood and money.

Based on Ukraine-Crimea situation Finland is just a separatist Russian province and needs to be abolished.==

Even more. Finns are our ethnical brothers. Russia herself is a mix of ancient Finnish tribes and Slavic tribes. So ethnically we are related to Finns and Estonians on one side and to all Slavs on another.
Finnish tribes is populating the whole north of Europe continent. So Finland itself is just most western chunk of Finnish population. Most Finnish live today in Russia.

So I mean Finland indeed is just one of our separatist province. Like Estonia also.

1. Poland and Romania and the Baltics etc. requested to join NATO. They wanted and want yo be part of an alliance to protect themselves from Russia. They were correct as Russia invades non NATO neighbours.

2. Russia bordered a NATO country right from 1999.

3. Ukraine was not going to be accepted to NATO. The last time it applied in 2008, France and Germany rejected its application for fear of “provoking Russia”. The same would happen again if Putin hadn’t invaded.

4. “Historical Russian lands”?
4.1 Both Russia and Ukraine and Belarus descend from Kyivan Rus. They have overlapping lands in which their ancestors lived
4.2 historically, Crimea was occupied longest by Greeks or Tatars. Not Russia.
4.3 Russia occupies historically Finnish land in Karelia, Chinese land in east manchuria, German land in Konigsberg. Are you advocating they return that?

Nickfrost1, I find it interesting you tell Norseviking; that “Finland indeed is just one of our separatist province”

By “our” you and Norseviking; refer to “our Russian” ?

And so by extension you may consider that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and indeed all slavic states are in the same boat?

Finland is prosperous and has an educated and high IQ population. They never want to be ruled by barbaric, vodka swilling Russians. Same for Ukraine. No one wants to be under Russian rule.

SO you are on the side of Ukraine, because you hate DC?
If that isn't an admission of treason, what is?

Russians on average are smarter and more educated than Finns, but I see your point.
Crimeans didn’t like to be Ukrainian for the same reasons you outlined though.
Are you making my point or what?

“Those allies YOU will have to defend by your blood and money.”

As it has been ever since the world began. That’s the world we live in. Either you fight to defend what you’ve built (like Western civilization) or someone will take it from you.

2. Russia bordered a NATO country right from 1999.==

That is what I’m talking about. It is the aggressive move of NATO.

4.1 Both Russia and Ukraine and Belarus descend from Kyivan Rus. They have overlapping lands in which their ancestors lived==

Not Ukraine. You notice that Russia and Belarus have the syllable “Rus” in their names. But Ukraine not. It means Ukraine refused Kievan Rus inheritance. They even changed their name because of it.

4.3 Russia occupies historically Finnish land in Karelia, Chinese land in east Manchuria, German land in Konigsberg. ==
Karelia do not belong to Finland. Rather opposite Finland is just one separate tribe which disconnected from whole. Same is for Estonia.
Eastern Manchuria is not such thing. Chine was agreed with it. Kaliningrad is our trophy for GPW.

But I agree with one thing. The borders are flexible and their lying depends on the forces of country which is ready to defend them.

Russia knows it very well. So any generations of Russians have their big war with West. It is just time for our generation. It will continue in a future too.
