Okay I searched! SO if this was posted it was NOT a CNN article.

With that said.

Yes Missouri is forcing women to wear burkas in the State House. /jk

now requires them to cover their shoulders by wearing a jacket like a blazer, cardigan or knit blazer.

The addition . . . sparked outrage from some Democrats who said the change was sexist because the dress code for men was not altered.

Okay. Amend the men's dress code to state they must have their shoulders covered, even though they're already required to wear a coat and tie.

Many people today don’t know what business attire is, or how to dress modestly, or how to wear clothes neatly.

Hence, dress codes.

No, both sexes have formal dress, just women are complaining.

Shoulders covered sounds pretty Muslim to me from my travels. I would vote against it, especially since I live in Las Vegas and have sleeves or shoulders covered only in winter. It’s pathetic what people think passes as “professional.”

Sounds fair to me. If the men have to wear coat and tie, the women should have to wear jackets, blazers or cardigans as well.

Stupid, whiny Democrat women. 🙄

The dress code for both/all sexes should be “nudity”...

This would certainly increase the amount of energy expended doing the state’s business...

“The previous dress code for women required ‘dresses or skirts or slacks worn with a blazer or sweater and appropriate dress shoes or boots.’”

Unless I’m missing something, it seems that the new dress code is the same as the previous dress code...?
