It appears from examples my wife quotes that his wife and some therapist are putting words in his mouth and in his dialogue in the book.
Meghan thought that once married, she and Harry would be co-Princess and Prince with William and Kate and that as the most glamorous of the four, she would take over the spotlight for years to come in the UK. When she realized that such a co-equal footing would never be afforded her and that Royals were confined to a set behavior and not Celebrities able to demand anything, she started this Sh*tShow to crash it all in pique.

This Harry guy is unbelievably stupid. His book confirms everything negative about him, leaves him zero leverage with his family, destroys any sympathy the public might have had for him, and leaves an impossible demand, thus blocking any chance of reconciliation.
Excepting the news media, Royals are the least likely group on Earth to issue public apologies for being wrong — Harry just doesn’t get the Royal concept. UK’s monarchists can breathe a sigh of relief that they dodged a bullet.
