On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing. After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family asks for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.

I may be old but I got to see all the great bands. The new jughead generations (Snowflakes and Zeros) don’t have any singers or musicians so they come up with “tribute” bands pretending to be the bands from our generation. What a joke.

I was blessed to watch Jeff Beck perform LIVE from front row, dead center at the 2006 Tempe Music Festival.
I have a Jeff Beck concert T-shirt pinned to the wall of my practice studio.
