Nope.
It was like a capital one card...don’t be in possession without one.
The problem was, this was extended to your property.
You had to have a FOID is you simply owned a gun.
Farmers couldn’t hunt varmints on their own land without it.
Lots of bad anecdotes out there.
That part, I believe, was swatted by the courts.
