Bear in mind my knowledge of scripture is quite limited, but from what I understand the mark isn’t something that will be imposed, that people will take it willingly.

Now..I dont know, but there have been some who have linked that to the beast.
Some have claimed that the mark of the beast (666) is currency or money. Since gold was a currency then, and todays control of the population will be through currency, then that links it to the mark of the beast....I.E. digital currency.
The question is, which individual controls it?
The key is that he is defined perfectly...Lion, Leopard and Bear. So IMO, From Babylon, Greece, or Persian area. Gains his power in the old Assyrian area which would include all that area from Egypt to Persia.

I’m probably naive to what the government can do with my bank account. If they can cut off my access, they would have to know my pin number and remove it. However, if they can control access, they would have remote control of all the bank accounts in America. You saw what happened with the airline flight shut down. Would they risk a glitch that shuts down all banking?
