A Peachland family is left reeling after the sudden passing of Jim Collins, a loving husband and father to four girls.
Jen Collins tells Castanet her husband died suddenly early Saturday morning.
Collins says she was waiting for the ambulance for what felt like forever.
"I think it took them just over 30 minutes, and then they worked on him for 45 minutes. They did the defibrillator and all the injections and medications, and there was nothing."
"It was horrific."
Collins says she was never told why the ambulance was delayed.
"I live in Peachland, and the Peachland Fire Department even got there after the ambulance," she added.
Castanet has reached out to BCEHS for comment.
Collins says autopsy results are expected to be complete sometime on Monday.
A GoFundMe campaign has been created to help the family with funeral and living expenses.
"Jim was the sole provider for his family, their whole world and the best dad anyone could ever ask for. He was generous with his time and energy, always willing to help a friend in need," Craig Collins shared online.
Jim Collins owned and operated a home renovation company.
He was 45 years old.
"He was loved and adored by many. He was a super dad to four beautiful daughters and the most loving husband to his wife. He was the hardest worker and took pride in his work ethic. You knew you could count on him with just a handshake," a friend wrote.

Heaven help us all if millions of young and middle-aged people suddenly start dying. The only good thing is the ‘vaccine’ merchants will become the most hated people on earth and this ‘pandemic’ nonsense will cease.
Perhaps this is what it will take to finally wake the sheep from their stupor. Not even the media or the CDC will be able to stop the tsunami of recrimination directed at the Gates and Fauci’s of the new world order.
I can see the paramedics’ first question to the loved ones when they respond to a cardiac emergency: “How many shots and boosters has he had?”
I know of someone who died suddenly last Saturday morning. They suddenly collapsed to the floor and screamed for help, but were dead by the time the ambulance got them to a hospital.
Of course every death isn’t a vax death. That said too many people are dropping over at very young ages.
Sticking you head in the sand won’t make it go away.
Yes, this is getting so old. In the rare instances the vaccines do cause myocarditis, it happens soon after vaccination. Hardly anyone is getting the boosters any longer, especially young people.
Mostly safe and effective. What a tragedy for the family.

The jabs are causing permanent damage that may or may not trigger immediate cardiac arrest.
I guess it is comforting to cling to your faith in the public health system that would never lie or withhold a deadly truth. I wonder how many sudden deaths will have to take place to undermine faith in the massive fraud behind the mandatory jabs.
It is mind-blowing to watch so many in denial of this dangerous and widespread fraud.

There are videos of people just start looking around like something is flying around them and they just fall over. Scary chit.
The last unattended unexpected in my family was over 50 years ago.
Hubby’s a lot longer than that.
Interesting thought experiment. If the Vax does kill everyone who is left. Hippies, politicians, paranoid gun nuts and me. 🤔
The husband of one of my wife’s best friends just died from a heart attack. She got home and he said “I think I’m having a heart attack.” He passed not long after that at the hospital. He had a stroke about six months ago and his recovery from the stroke was just so-so.
They are both 70ish, so at that age where these things happen. I don’t know their vax status.
these "unexpected" deaths are just too many....
Every person who dies is reported here. Usually several times over. No wonder it *seems* like so many are dying young.
Everybody dies suddenly, either your breathing or your not.
The reasons seem to be greatly variable.
