Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was captured on the House floor late Friday holding up her cell phone with former President Donald Trump on the line.
After the House Republicans' failed 14th vote to elect GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy to the speakership, Greene tried getting Rep. Matt Rosendale to speak with the former president.
'It was the perfect phone call,' Greene tweeted, sharing Bloomberg's photo of the moment, where Trump's initials 'DT' were clearly seen on her iPhone screen.
Rosendale, a Republican from Montana, had yelled out the name of Rep. Andy Biggs during the 14th round of voting.

He didn’t have a choice when it came to his cabinet given that the RINOs in the Senate wouldn’t approve who wanted to appoint.
Given that no one else stepped up and wanted the job, forcing McCarthy into making concessions might have been the best result.
I believe Trump wouldn’t back him if he didn’t think he’d do a good job.

What’s relevant, however, is the corporate membership I mentioned.
I question Trumps wisdom on this one. But at this point we will see what McCarthy does. That’s all we can do.

Hardly? McConnell was saluting Cheney all the way out the door. If she were a senator, he’d have protected her committee assignments until the bitter end.

He stuck with her for a little while before he realized this was turning into a personal jihad. McConnell stuck with her till the end and still does.

I’m not sure if the hastert rule was adopted, so I have no expectations for any speaker. It seems like that should be iron law, and then it almost doesn’t matter who’s the speaker.
