Just thinking about it if the rumors are true about the concessions (and they better be in writing) then Rep. Kevin McCarthy will be the most constrained and hobbled Speaker in a long time.
Think about it.
The motion to vacate has been restored so if they (conservatives) want to ditch him in future they can call a vote.
Regular order has been restored (it seems) so no more 4,000 page bills released in the dead of night written by lobbyists.
A Church committee under the auspices of Jim Jordan's Judiciary committee.
The ability to defund agencies and salaries (Holman rule).
These are important wins I feel.
The votes on legislation we all know are a joke.
However, Speaker McCarthy has been significantly weakened and constrained and I think this was a fight worth having even if I'm disappointed that he gets the job.
Thoughts?

You have no sense.
People that haven’t had to figure things out, think on the surface.
Gaetz did not want Mccarthy. 200 others wanted to go home and the majority there don’t run their day on doing the right thing.. They run on politics.
We have had Pelosi way too long, and the loses put Biden and between Biden and his puppeteer, they have tripled problems and in the process of destroying the nation.
This country needs to be rid I of all who have been too long and forgot what works and decides what works for them.
They just added a guy too long there.. Voted by more too long there.
This nation can’t take millions illegals, handing billions $$ to countries we have no ties to.
Bad decisions after another.
I could do better and they think they have a right to have that gavel?
They have one more string on Mccarthy.. And that one proves he can’t be trusted

You state the obvious with absolutely no way if accomplishing what you are thinking. The people did nit vote out the 200 so now what? Do you have a plan to do that? Of course not.
