kimmel skit on this
You know the world has gone nuts when the Taliban makes a funny. I dont recall ever being amused by the Viet Cong but the world made more sense back then.
I know that some memoirs can shed light on interesting people, but this particular book strikes me as an attempt by Harry to make himself look like some sort of hero and victim.
He and his wife’s constant need for attention (and money) is going to get them into big trouble.
Henry, just shut up.
Royals, bickering like 10 year old girls. Who would have thought?
I can’t believe the RF hasn’t washed their hands of him yet..
Also, he takes no responsibility for anything.Everything is someone else's fault. What a spoiled brat.
Other big losers ultimately include both the now-defunct Soviet Union and the United States and its "allies" who dumped materiel and lives and treasure into the hole named "Afghanistan." And so many "big mouth losers" have proclaimed their losses as wins. What is without a doubt is that the idiot "student" Taliban again crush society is that sad nation courtesy of the grand "big mouth loser" of them all, the real or fictional Mohamed.
I graduated from a military college. I know a lot of men who were in combat from 1983 through the mid 2010s. In fact, I recently spent a weekend reunion with dozens of them. After several drinks the stories started to flow.
Not one of them recounted “how many” lives they took. I’ve heard of “incidents” in very private conversations—incidents about individual encounters. But never a “count.”
It sounds like a child asking a soldier if they’ve ever killed anyone.
He’s a liar. Have pals that were combat. They never once mentioned any of it
I never asked about it. Don’t know and don’t want to.
I have seen death, wish I could erase the memory.
Harry put a huge target on himself and his whole family by bragging about his tolly-bon body count ….esp in London which is loaded with muzz radicals
WTH was the uber talented, splendiferous ghostwriter thinking?!
Who churns out this bilge for a client?!
Was Mr. Ghostwriter really working for the Harkles?
For someone else?
Did the ghostwriter have a ghostwriter?
And who leaked that book and why?
Since the leak came from Spain, I doubt it was the Harkles.
Did the publisher do it in order to offer up a handy explanation for why sales suck?
Or is the publisher’s motivation here for publishing this book in the first place something else that should get a good look...
Inquiring minds want to know.
To me it’s a relief that our military at least wasn’t taking this idiot’s advice!
Prince Dork making new friends again
Imho Harry, you should keep that info close to the vest.
For a number of reasons.

No, he said he suggested bigger bombs because the British troops have a "go big or go home" mentality. But, when the Americans used the smaller missiles, he saw that the smaller missiles worked:
He writes how he was convinced that he was right, but as it was the first strike he had planned, he says he did not have the confidence to overrule the Americans. He goes on to describe the experience of watching the strike being carried out on digital monitors. He explains how he gave the necessary commands to prepare the strike from around three miles away and - when ready - gave the order. Then, he describes a flash and an explosion on his screen and watched as the bunker was blown to pieces. A lethal strike was confirmed, he writes.
