My house is on fire!!! I got the dogs out but nothing else!!! All Hrafi’s donations money was upstairs where it started
OmG were gong to be homeless and broke and I don’t even have pants on just shorts.
I’m in the car with Hrafi waiting for the car to throw heat.
Oh Jesus help us!!!!

They boarded up the open parts they out of the house and the neighbor at the end of my lane is locked and loaded if he sees anything odd happening.

The fire department automatically calls them and the Red Cross guy was there really fast.
If you’re on Facebook look up Washington county Maryland fire calls.
It’s on there and seeing my address makes me want to throw up.
It hurts to think my freeper family would question such a horrible nightmarish thing.
I posted because was alone, afraid, cold and barely dressed in my car watching the rest of my world collapse.
I was barely holding it together for my dogs sake but this is just too much.
I just desperately want to go home.

The supreme irony is that yesterday was the one year anniversary of finding out he had cancer.
I was going to take him to pet stores to mark my gratitude and happiness that he is still here a year later and give him a trip that wasn’t to a vet.
He did get to leave the house after all but not like I wanted.
This can’t be happening.

Prayers up for you Salamander. I can’t imagine having to go through what you have been through these last few years. It is hard to see God in all of the crap you (and me and many of us) have gone through lately. But I just go back to the fact that He is sovereign and He loves me when I don’t understand. And yeah - I still get mad at Him and the world.
I’m glad that you were able to get into a dog-friendly motel. I hope that you have some friends that can look in on you in person.
I hurt for you and you are close in my prayers.

I know this sounds really trite right now, but this too shall pass. However, I know you sure didn’t need this on top of everything else and this sucks. I will keep praying for all of you.

I was at the bedroom door screaming for Lenny to get up and get Boo out of the house in just a t shirt and sleep shorts with Hrafi already on a leash.
Grabbed my purse and cellphone and called 911 standing in the cold yard
Thank God there were two hoodies I just got from Goodwill in the car.
I put Hrafi in the backseat and ran to help him get Boo into the machine shop
I will live or die with my dogs.
No other option.
Motel is for two days and then some temporary housing somewhere.
I am gutted.
I live only a mile from my mom and take care of her when she needs anything and now I’m not just a minute away.
Red Roof Inn.
Not too terrible but I’d rather be home.
I have a migraine from trying to phone type.
One pair of cheap reading glasses were in the car do that’s what I have.

The “ new add on” from 1900.
The 300 year old log house is fine and dry as is the downstairs bedroom.
The kitchen is waterlogged as it’s right under the two small rooms.
