Come on, nut up and come out of the closet.
Agreed 100% not ashamed of it.
Sounds like a fake republican to me
Quack waddle 🦆
Catturd is right on target.
Isn’t Truth Social the Donald’s media-board ?
Crenshaw:R- Ukraine.
Could Joe Hoft even write an article without repeating the same thing three times?
He’s as bad as the Brit publications...
I agree with Catturd. McCarthy is a back stabbing weasel.’
Crenshaw is a POS with ties to the WEF (World Economic Forum).
I don’t give two sh!@s what he has to say about anything.
Nuts are fine, and no I don’t view the 20 folks who aren’t bending knee to McCarthy as terrorists.
Do I agree with everything all of them are doing? No, but I don’t agree with everything the other 202 who voted for McCarthy are doing either.
Honestly, McCarthy has no one to blame but himself for this fiasco, as far as I’m concerned.. You want to be Speaker, the job of speaker is to drive the agenda and make sure you have the support to get it done.
If he can’t manage to negotiate a settlement and get 16 more of his own caucus to vote for him to be speaker, why would anyone think he will be able to rally the troops to get the votes and support for legislation etc?
What is going on right now, is how its supposed to work.. what folks really should be asking themselves is why for more than 100 years has every speaker from both sides of the aisle won of the first round?
That, to me, tells you more about where we are today, than the fact that this time it’s not playing out that way.
As far as I’m concerned, this is a whole lot of hand wringing over nothing. My life isn’t going to change whether McCarthy gets the votes today or tomorrow, or 20 votes from now or ever.. Nor will nearly anyone else’s outside of the beltway....
nailed it
“ Come on, nut up and come out of the closet. ”
I’m not a terrorist, but I am a Zionist Hoodlum.
I'd guess everyone of the neocon Ukrainian war cheerleaders do.
“After whirlwind negotiations late Wednesday, McCarthy reportedly agreed to assign more members of the Freedom Caucus, which has been at the forefront of efforts to thwart his efforts to become speaker, to House committees — including the Rules Committee, which has great sway over which legislation gets to the floor for a vote.
Other concessions involve allowing votes on term limits and border security legislation, according to the reports.
The Post reported Wednesday evening that a super PAC aligned with McCarthy — the Congressional Leadership Fund — reached an agreement with the conservative nonprofit Club for Growth on primary candidate funding, resolving another sticking point in the dispute.”
Link below. Looks like McCarthy has agreed to many of the demands, meaning he has given more than an inch.
I don’t think it matters. I think if McCarthy agreed in writing to every single demand from the holdouts, they would just create an unending stream of new demands.
Quick poll: how many posting on this forum would be willing to admit they agree with Crenshaw’s sentiment?
Come on, nut up and come out of the closet.
Some of his sentiments are understandable if there are truly members who are not negotiating on policy and procedure but for their own personal gain. But calling them “enemies” is a jump the eye patch moment.
Call me a terrorist...
For the present, nothing will get done in either House.
Gaetz wouldn't cross the street to spit on you if you were on fire. Neither would Crenshaw. Neither would McCarthy.
But this has turned into a circus and it's going to hurt our cause for many years to come. But at least Gaetz keeps getting on TV! Fools.
Well, I’m going to pass along what a very conservative congressman told me yesterday:
McCarthy gave in on EVERY rules change the holdouts wanted, including the vacate rule; he agreed to every single committee assignment and chairman they desired. “At this point he gave them every thing they wanted. They cannot name one single thing any more.”
BTW, “broken promises,” chair appointments and committee appointments are done deals. Can’t be undone. And these are extremely powerful positions. Even Andy Biggs told me a few months ago those were as important as the Speaker.
