Any improvement is fantastic. One big remaining question is why they had to revive him on the field twice. Heart stoppage from a blow to the heart doesn’t require that. In the case of a blow to the heart causing stoppage the heart is fine, just needs a kick start. Stopping twice indicates a different set of possible problems.

9-10 minutes of CPR will give him lots of lung damage. That may be the reason for the ventilator for now. Prayers up for the young man. Guy was super fit before the incident. That’s a good place to start from.
