Portillo’s. Now in Michigan. Nope. Ever since Dick Portillo sold off the chain, the new owner changed the beef, the recipe, the bread and the portion size.
Portillo's absolutely SUCKS. Real Chicago Italian Beef lovers go to Buona Beef. Still family owned, still local to Chicago (expanding to Arizona later this year) and still freaking awesome.

Portillo’s. Now in Michigan. I had one at Portillo's in Phoenix last year and it was just as good as I remember them in Chicago.

I have a tangential family relationship with Dick Portillo. He’s a solid upstanding man.
