No, the house has adjourned after three votes for NOT Kevin McCarthy.
The only reason McCarthy got so many votes is fear. Other members who think he will win it don’t want him to punish them with no committee memberships and withholding of reelection funds when they need it. If it looks like someone else will win they will abandon McCarthy in a heartbeat.
GOP — If you fail, adjourn.
I listened to some of Mark’s show, calling us morons. If McCarthy is elected, he will be whining about how McCarthy is screwing us over.
