Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin might have been a fraction of a second away from moving on to the next play. Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest Monday night when he collapsed on the field in Cincinnati, was administered CPR under life-or-death circumstances and hospitalized in critical condition after what one independent board-certified cardiologist saw as a collision at the time in the cardiac cycle when the heart is most vulnerable.
“That hit had to occur at a certain point in time that was only five milliseconds long,” said Dr. Marc Cohen, Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Newark-Beth Israel Medical Center. “If that hit occurred one millisecond after or before, this may not have happened.”
What looked like a routine (by NFL standards) tackle by Hamlin on Bengals receiver Tee Higgins resulted in Hamlin getting to his feet, adjusting his facemask and immediately falling onto his back as horrified players from both sides watched trainers, paramedics and doctors assist with his breathing and restore his heartbeat.

You can say the same thing about the three explanations offered by the cardiologist. You don't see players dropping out due to any of the there explanations.
The bottom line is that if it was the fax, they will not tell us.
Hmmm...
I can assure you that if UC Medical says he was in Cardiac Arrest, he was in Cardiac Arrest. One of the best hospitals in the Country.
Google is easy, use it. Speculation does not help.
“ Seizure-like activity is a major sign/symptom of the onset of “sudden” cardiac arrest of presumed cardiac etiology, particularly in patients with shockable initial rhythms.”
Just saw on Twitter, his uncle is reporting that he started at 100% oxygen, he is now down to 50%.
In medical school they teach one to look for horses not zebras. The anti-vax ers here see zebras behind every tree.
Sounds positive. Thanks.
That is great news!! Thanks for the report.
I'm thinking not so much the force of the hit but instead the physical exertion of making the tackle. The guy was hit but still had the strength to make the tackle.
That physical exertion plus the myocarditis.
Good post. It is definitely not unfair to respectfully ask questions (questions that need answered) while sincerely praying for a good outcome for the young man.
Seen on another site:
A key procedure if Hamlin passes would be to look for patchy interstitial
myocardial T-lymphocytic infiltration found in a German study of vaccine caused myocarditis. This could be done with others who suffer unexpected cardiac failure.

If such a link is consistently demonstrated, these tragic losses could benefit the living. I pray for his recovery.
You would have to show me that "bad faith" on "both sides".
One side pushed the idea that every death with any connection to Covid was due to nothing but Covid alone; it's the same side that suddenly lacks any interest in the rise in all-cause mortality.
The other side is simply pointing at the shortcomings in the arguments pushed by the first side.
LOL.
‘It’s my duty as a cardiologist to urgently inform every Dr, patient & member of the public that the mRNA product is a likely contributory factor in all unexpected cardiac arrests, heart attacks, strokes, cardiac arrhythmia & heart failure since 2021 until proven otherwise’#NHS pic.twitter.com/E06w4KPLxk— Dr Aseem Malhotra (@DrAseemMalhotra) October 19, 2022
I figure all the heart issues will be forgotten about once everyone begins figure out how seldom new babies are born. I hope not, but that is the fear. I bet China loves Bill Gates.
I’ve seen both…….usually “convulsions” are quick and at the beginning of cardiac arrest and don’t last long, perhaps just seconds.
Sometimes, there are none at all.
OK, you win the thread!
