That was the scariest thing at a Pro Sporting event that I have ever seen.
*** I asked a question. See the ?
You interpreted it as a statement.***
“This was a heart attack of some kind to a 24 year old.” - Statement.
“I’ve been watching football for 40 years and have NEVER seen this before.” - Statement.
“Healthy athletes have been dying all over the world.” - Statement.
About fifteen years ago, I watched an opposing player in my son’s lacrosse match die from SCA after taking a mid-chest hit from the ball. He was fine for 30 seconds, and then his number was up. Sad, but true.
“Go get help.”
I’m a disabled VET under care all the time.
Maybe you need help, Democrat.
It’s a deceleration injury, pads have nothing to do with it.
Looks pretty plausible. Like ten seconds after the impact to his chest. Just enough for the hypoxia from a stopped heart to take over in his brain.
Shoulder pads typically cover the upper ribs. Or at least they did 50 years ago. The area over the heart.
Point to the false statement
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, 24, is given CPR after collapsing on the field in shocking scenes during game against Bengals: Play suspended as player is cut out of his uniform and taken to hospital
“ Point to the false statement”
So now you are admitting you made statements.
Brother, get your head straight and ask for humility and wisdom.
The espn coverage of the whole incident is shameful.
That may help
but does not prevent all trauma
I was being attacked for asking a question I wrongly assumed you were doing the same.
The false statement was….
The hit and tackle looked pretty normal. Standing up stumbling backards and falling backwards was nit normal.
I watched the game where Jack Tatum hit Darryl Stingley and break his neck. Also remember watching LT snap Theismann’s leg. Those were gruesome hits.
I hope this kid is alright but I have my doubts. They held the ambulance up so his mom coukd ride with him after giving him CPR? If it was that serious they would have rushed him to the hospital and brought his mom to him.
Yes. I find it fascinating. They are struggling with a first ever. I can’t believe they don’t have an alternate program to question up and fill the slot. They are certainly struggling to make noise at this point.
Horrible but it happens. All we can do is pray for the family
“ Brother, get your head straight and ask for humility and wisdom.”
The man who calls total strangers “stupid” in a public forum is demanding others seek humility and wisdom
That’s rich
To be fair to ESPN this tests their producers big time. Not exactly a production protocols line item to plan for. Similar to the earthquake at Candlestick Park with AL Michael’s.
Re: 77 - yeah that was crazy. Michaels handled it like a champ!
Ultra Conservative BELIVER. Now is not the time!
I worked in NCAA sports for 14 years.
At some level, in some game…this happens every couple of years. Usually lacrosse, basketball, or baseball. Heavy contact sports have chest protectors for this stuff.
