I’m old enough to remember her impact on the news first-hand. She rejected the ancient “who/what/when/where/why” rules of reporting in favor of asking how her subjects f-e-e-e-e-l about whatever event she was covering. Saccharine to the max. Ruined news commentary forever, but women and soyboys ate it up on toast. My wife loved it, but I often had to leave the room.

Today they’re ‘’journalists’’ and the story is all about them.
