When the Muslims conquered Egypt, the commander sent a courier back to the Iman, asking if they should consider saving the great libraries.
The answer came back that if anything in the library was consistent with Islam, it wasn’t needed. And if it was inconsistent, it must be destroyed. So they were told to destroy everything.
That’s clearly the age we’re living in. They are destroying words, books, films, history, ideas and of course, people.
It should not be difficult to identify at the highest level of the DOD who the "they" is that actually handed down this "removal" order. Most likely it originated at the WH.
An active R conference could easily conduct hearings on the matter and the next time there is a R admin in the WH the matter could be resolved.

We would seem to have an advantage over 1930's Germany in that regard but the question, of course, is whether our political representatives will respond effectively.
