A woman is going viral after revealed that her “considerably overweight” husband bought her a pricey gym membership for Christmas — after sharing rude comments about her weight.
“This Christmas, my husband gifted me a very expensive gym membership for 12 months. I am very fit and active, but simply have no time to go to the gym and my husband knows this,” the woman wrote on the now-viral “Am I Being Unreasonable?” thread of the popular “mommy blog” Mumsnet.
“Despite being considerably overweight himself, my husband has been making pointed comments about my weight for some time (I have a BMI of 20). Am I being unreasonable to be pissed off?” she continued in the heated post, which has sense racked up thousands of passionate comments.

Heated seats are wonderful. So is the heated steering wheel.
I would say, “No, the fat makes you look fat”
I think both wouldn’t be in the “approved column” by females.
Jeez, and they claim they value honesty and openess.
Women lie... :)
I often think that no direct question from a woman is actually direct, but has a hidden purpose.
For Christmas my wife said she wanted something that went from 0-200 fast, and didn’t care what color it was! So I got her a bathroom scale.
Good one. LOL. I’m a woman and I’d love a gym membership, but I already have one.
Hopefully it has a great spa and many private classes.
I can imagine how good the heated steering wheel is.
I am thinking of purchasing a heater for the bathroon that heats up towels.
The problem with Legos is that for many now they are just the model. I’m old enough that though the models were kind of lame yet they would sell a set consisting of nothing but gears and wheels ... long before Technic was ever a thing.
I used to build these highly asymmetrical hotels on wheels with multistory interiors of a sort behind the windows. They were absurdly dysfunctionally functional.
Best answer I have heard yet.
Cant stand that nonsense. In the bible it says let your yes be yes, and your no mean no.

Bill Engvall:
I was at the gym the other day working out with my buddy. My buddy Joey. And he goes “hey, man, I’m getting a divorce.”
I said “Wow, that sucks. Can you spot me?”
That was our whole conversation! So then I go home to my wife, and I say “Hey, Joey is getting a divorce.”
She goes “Oh, my God! What happened?”
“I dunno.”
“What do you mean you don’t know? Is she cheating on him, is he cheating on her?”
“Again, I’m not holding anything back here, I don’t know!”
She goes “Bill, someone tells you they’re getting a divorce and you don’t ask any questions?”
And I go “Well, that’s because he didn’t ask me a question!
He didn’t say ‘hey Bill, what do you think about me getting a divorce?’, he said, ‘I’m getting a divorce’, which said to me, ‘I require no further input on your part.’”
If he had said ‘What do you think about me getting a divorce?’, I’d have said, ‘Well, you’re gonna be dating again, so you should work on your abs’.
LOL!!!
I have a heated steering wheel in one car. Used it once - eh. Have heated seats and sometimes use it.
My newer car has “high performance” LEDs (not sure why M-B calls them that). THOSE I like a lot. Throw light so much further.
#31 Jeff Foxworthy: Women don’t want to hear a man’s opinion...
...They just want to hear their own but in a deeper voice.
Any exercise classes or is it just machines and weights?
Take him with you, completely revamp your diet, and his too. You vacay to a health retreat, he goes too. Then in a year, you’ll become the embodiment of fitness and nutrition and honey-bunny will NEVER do that again.
Don’t forget to make him drink his cleansing smoothies 2x per day.
If he balks, call him on his BS and make his freaking life HELL. Invite the class over for healthy pot lucks and girl time, ensure he is around to help out during those days.
And as one comment said “I wish someone would give me a membership.”
Me too, but at my age, with several life altering accidents behind me, my regimen changed from working out to physical therapy, stressing full range of movement and balance.
Oh and cut sweets and booze out of the shopping. He’ll regret it. But it was a nice thought. Share it lovingly. Make all outings activity oriented.
You have an opportunity here.
My wife was complaining about her gym always being nasty so i took her and signed up to a really nice gym i had already inspected.
She took the tour, i got her the best membership they offered, then she kissed me every day when she came home and said thank you so much.
Life is great when you have a good wife, and boy i have a good one.
he could have booked her a nice vacation flight. One way
Sad, but true...
