HEADQUARTERS ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Richmond papers contain a dispatch from Charleston, dated 19th, announcing that a very large steamer, freighted for the Confederate States Government, safely arrived yesterday at a Southern port, bringing a heavy stock of shoes and blankets, an immense quantity of cloth, and other supplies.
It is stated by rebel officers that a large establishment is engaged in Richmond making pantaloons of the same color and texture as is furnished to our soldiers. Large numbers of them appeared on the rebel troops in Fredericksburgh yesterday during a flag of truce.
Gen. BONHAM has been unanimously elected Governor of South Carolina, in place of Gen. MAXEY GREGG, who was killed in the recent battle of Fredericksburgh.
Ex-Gov. WISE is spoken of as a prominent candidate for Governor of Virginia.

Senator Harris in Camp--Gen. Franklin--Arrival of Gen. Wadsworth and Staff--The Military Position Unchanged.
HEADQUARTERS ARMY OF THE POTOMAC,
Monday Evening, 11 o'clock, Dec. 22, 1862.
Senator HARRIS, of New-York, arrived here, yesterday, from Washington, accompanied by Dr. D. BAILEY, of Albany. Other Congressmen are also journeying hither. Surgeon-Gen. KING, of Pennsylvania, reached Falmouth on Saturday, and dined yesterday with the officers in charge of DOUBLEDAY'S Division Hospital. He comes to provide for the wants of the wounded belonging to Pennsylvania regiments. Gen. FRANKLIN, accompanied by his Staff, rode out among the camps of the left wing to-day, to inspect the quarters of his men, equipped in military hat, with rim depressed a la Burnside, plain "regular" surtout, dark pants and army boots -- free from all military trappings. His appearance presented a strong contrast to the showy dress of his retinue.
