The Lower 48 states are beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, as frigid subzero temperatures paired with brutal wind chill have several states with temperatures as cold as the North Pole ....
...The Norwegian Meteorological Institute reported that on Friday, the North Pole was experiencing temperatures of minus-23 degrees Celsius, or minus-9 Fahrenheit. Several states in the U.S. were experiencing temperatures of minus-9 Fahrenheit or lower, meaning they were as cold or colder than the North Pole.

(DH, who is now safe at home in SoCal, said when he left Midland TX, on Thurs morning it was 7 below with windchill. So it would be fair to add TX to the list)
It got down to 6° here in Connecticut with some 45-60 mph gusts. That isn’t polar but it’s cold enough for me.
Merry Christmas to all!
Looking forward to the New Year in the knowledge that God has sent us a Risen Savior who is Christ the Lord!
This is the hope of the world, not any political party, platform, or politician. Let us hope the world finds Jesus this day and repent in order to be saved.
Peace on Earth, good will towards all men.
WWG1WGA!
Congratulations to Newsweek and Anna Skinner for not injecting the global-warming-climate-change hoax into this article. I know this must have been difficult for you, but well-done anyway.
Amen and amen!
It was so cold in Washington DC today that President Zelensky had his hands in his own pockets.
5 degrees (-15C) in Virginia this morning - Merry Christmas everyone!
Wednesday in Oklahoma City it was -23 with windchill- It’s 32 degrees right now with a high going to be 44 and into the high 40s for the next week so we are back to normal.
7 below with the windchill is not the same as 9 below without windchill.
Truly very cold for Texas, but still we were somewhere between 9 and 12 below for a good chunk of the day, then add in the gusty winds and it was pretty darned cold in MN. Its been a while since it took almost 30 minutes for my vehicle to get comfortable to ride in.
How apropos on Christmas Day! We have the same weather as the fat guy in the red suit who actually LIVES at the North Pole.
“Windchill” is NOT a real temperature. It should be banned forevermore.
It was -11 here in SW Ohio on Friday, which is a little early in the season for this type of cold. The Climate change cult will be out in full force with the blaming fossil fuels BS. However, I believe it is simply called Winter. It’s not the first nor will it be the last time we will see below zero temps in Ohio (or the entire Midwest) during the Winter.
Wonders what percentage of what the U.S. hands to Zelenskii isn’t dictated by Brandon, as what Z is allowed to spend it on so Brandon gets his cut.
It meant something in NJ Friday evening, One Guy is here to say.
Maybe 12 degrees on the Thermometer but what felt like -30 in reality.
Those winds were unforgettable when experienced at that air temperature.
Turned exposed fingers to twigs, near frostbitten, in what seemed like seconds.
That is not cold. I worked construction in Colorado one yr that was down to -40F at times. When it warmed up to 0 F it felt warm. Course I was younger then and we were dressed for it.
It was minus 12 in Indiana.
oh, good one!
Ah, but that is the point of re-naming the hoax as climate change, instead of the ‘70’s “global cooling” scam and warming — until a few years back when it was obvious to all but CNN addicts that there was no warming.
All MSM outlets will now report this as a result of CO2. No, not winter. CO2.
All weather is local. “If you don’t like it, wait 15 minutes.” LOL.
