A St. Louis County woman is charged with two counts of first-degree murder after she tracked down her stolen car and allegedly killed two men outside a gas station, police said.

The video shows Coleman opening the car door with her gun raised, while the man opens another door, also with his gun raised.

Coleman opened fire and sparked the shootout, police said.

I agree......that doesn’t make it legal however.

When evil prosecutors, DA’s, and mayors refuse to prosecute - the law of the jungle will commence.

If I was on this jury, she’d be not guilty and given $1M for pain and suffering.

Nope. I am with you.

If there is no swift, severe, and public deterrent to crime, then there will be escalating crime.

If someone murders someone, they may not have a death sentence carried out for 30 years, when the public no longer remembers. There is rarely a death penalty either. And the public should see it.

The way things are now is no deterrent, and they want it that way.

OK, fine. It’s not legal.

“The jury will be sympathetic”

Very possible.

I remember a story out of Louisiana in the 80s where a pedo molested a young boy.

The pedo got caught and arrested and had to be flown back to where the molestation occurred.

The boys day knew when the pedo was gonna be at the airport.

Acting like he was on a payphone, when the LEOs escorted the pedo through the airport past him he pulled a pistol and shot the pedo right in the head killing him.

The dad was of course arrested but when he went to trial a jury found him not guilty.

Being Louisiana......it didn’t really surprise me.

The guys that stole the car and came out with guns started the shootout, she just shot first, maybe.”

-—————Guys in car never came out-—————

Surveillance video showed Coleman walking up to a Hyundai Tucson at the gas station with a man who was also carrying a weapon, according to a police detective. Police have not released the man’s name.

The video shows Coleman opening the car door with her gun raised, while the man opens another door, also with his gun raised.

A TV film crew actually filmed the pedo being shot. The jury decided that they did not believe their lying eyes. Good decision by the jury.

The prosecutor had a very unenviable job, as it was 100% premeditated murder filmed by the TV crew. He had no choice but to prosecute. He probably hated his job that day.

In Chicago, the coppers are not allowed to pursue on foot, the car chase is history, only allowed to return fire AFTER they are grievously wounded...

Yep I remember seeing the video.

As far as the prosecutor goes, you never know.

He mighta had his foot on the prosecutorial brake just a little......it would’ve been hard for me not to had I been in his shoes. 😏

Jeez - 46th post and finally someone who read the article!

Very poorly written but she and another man tracked down her stolen car and with guns drawn approached and surrounded the car, open the doors and confronted the thieves who prolly had their own guns, and a shoot out ensued.

No self defense here. This was a premeditated vigilante act.

Chicago, yeah I don’t go there. We’d have to know more about the situation inside the stolen car to make a judgment on this case. Were the perps armed and did they pull weapons when confronted? I wouldn’t chase down my stolen car and shoot a person in it myself, I’m just not surprised that someone did. The law can decide how it goes.

Allowing lawlessness breeds more lawlessness. That’s the fault of government, in my opinion.

“I don’t see any reason why she should be charged with a crime.”

It is a clear message from the government to the people that you will be jailed if you defend yourself or your property.

Illinois will be the first state to eliminate cash bail 1 Jan 2023.
And sadly I live here.

“St. Louis, ‘progressive’ prosecutors, meaning they are pro-criminal, pro-crime.”
It depends where the shooting took place. ST. Louis City is a totally separate government entity from ST.Louis County. Its not like Chicago being in Cook county.

This will become more common as Biden/Soros push for lax law enforcement and open borders becomes more in our face.

Grew up and went to college in Illinois. Wonderful place to live 50 years ago. Cannot fathom the logic behind the “No cash bail”...Should be “No bail”...Period.
Hope the legislators responsible for this nightmare are the first crime victims.
