A St. Louis County woman is charged with two counts of first-degree murder after she tracked down her stolen car and allegedly killed two men outside a gas station, police said.
The video shows Coleman opening the car door with her gun raised, while the man opens another door, also with his gun raised.
Coleman opened fire and sparked the shootout, police said.

I wish I was on her jury. She would walk.
Demesha, I wish someone who thinks like me is assigned to your jury. This sounds like it could be a RIGHTEOUS JURY NULLIFICATION case.
Another example of why American’s need the Second Amendment. Especially in these days when politicians are working so hard to push crime rates high by keeping the criminals on the streets.
But then, there would be civil suits against her,as she was convicted of a crime. She wouldn’t be able to offer a defense.....
Citizens have the same right to stop crime against their own property and families as police do.
There is no “going to”. We are already there in our society. I for one, think if one steals a car, it warrants a death sentence. You can tell me I am wrong but I will retort that was the exact rule which was put in place to create the safe and free society we enjoyed for so long in the US.
“I don’t see any reason why she should be charged with a crime”
I get what your saying about doing a public service but that doesn’t make it lawful.
It really depends on state law......I imagine it’s unlawful to pursue a criminal when not in fear for your life.
I figure the law will say she shoulda called the cops when she knew where her car was instead of taking the law into her own hands..
Now if she’d have shot them WHILE they were attempting to steal her car that would I imagine be more in line with a fear for life or bodily harm situation.
However that’s more in line with Florida law so like I said, depends on the state law.
In Texas you can. However, I would not unless my life or loved ones were in danger. At night this is a different subject. I would not know if you are armed or not. Thus, I would "try" to avoid confrontation. If a confrontation is not avoidable, "Say hello to Glock 17 40 caliber, tactical light and laser." I am proficient with it.
Sounds like the perps got their just desert.
—”They are going to force the law-abiding citizens of this country into vigilante justice, may they reap what they sow.”
A Gresham’s law of crime; bad drives out good.
If the public is prepared to accept and circulate bad, and if the total population, including, both good and bad, exceeds the actual good, public demand for better weapons will increase...
The guys that stole the car and came out with guns started the shootout, she just shot first, maybe.
More to the point, in St. Louis County she is being charged becasue se brought a gun to a gun fight. Her real crime, in the eyes of the authoritarians there is that she violated the state's monopoly on the use of violence.
Where did you find a Glock 17 in 40 caliber?
“Citizens have the same right to stop crime against their own property and families as police do”
To a certain extent......but it has limits.
There’s a fine line between that and vigilanteism.
Hmmmm. Fair point? Anyone else know a way to prevent this?
If law enforcement had shot these guys for pulling a gun on them, there would be no charges. How is it different because an ordinary citizen made the stop? It shouldn’t be. She had every right to stop a crime in progress and her life was threatened in the process. LE and prosecutors absolutely hate it when ordinary citizens enforce laws because they can’t or won’t.
Fortunately, she is black. The jury will be sympathetic.
Solution to “cash free bail”....
But the commie-crats don’t believe you should own anything, and the thieves took it because you probably stole it from someone else by oppressing them. They actually ‘think’ (aka feels) that way.
Regrettably the system is rigged. Killing criminals means less money for the system. Less money for the system means problems are being solved and lawyers, judges, support staff, law enforcement people and staff go hungry. Therefore killing criminals means people aren’t working. Vicious circle …..
When the law is not enforced by the designated authorities vigilantism is what follows.
