Tesla had his obsessions and did display what is perhaps ritualistic behavior. At one point during his life, Tesla said that “if you only knew the magnificence of the numbers 3, 6, and 9, then you would have a key to the universe. What exactly he meant by this remains an enigma. Still, many of his followers and historians believe it had great significance, not only for Tesla but for the future of mankind.
Tesla, for example, would walk around a block exactly THREE times before he decided to walk into a building. He wore gloves and was afraid of germs. He would wash his dishes with exactly 18 napkins since this number is divisible by the numbers 9, 6, and 3.
There is no doubt that the inventor was greatly obsessed, among other things, with numbers. For example, by doubling the number 1 and 2, we create a pattern of numbers that excludes the numbers Tesla said were so important. A scientist called Marko Rodin thought that Tesla’s 3, 6, and 9, therefore, represent a “flux field vector” representing the pathway from the third to the fourth dimensions.
But there is perhaps a kind of ritualistic meaning in the numbers Tesla gave so much importance to. For example, the number three appears very often throughout human history and even in the most basic forms of geometry: pyramids.
It is almost as if everything in Telsa’s mind revolved around the number three. In fact, on various occasions did, Telsa speak of the so-called trifecta of “energy, frequency, and vibration.” These three aspects were key to Telsa, and he was very much convinced that energy, frequency, and vibration help the secrets of the universe itself.

Actually, the Freemasons found him thru George Westinghouse, who teamed with Tesla to bring AC to the world to compete with Edison’s DC electric propagation. George was flush from inventing the Westinghouse train brake system still used today. When it came time to expand, they sought out the banker JP Morgan, who was backing Edison. JP thought Tesla had the better plan, but balked over paying patent fees to Tesla for all the AC devices that made or used AC current. So Tesla tore up the patents, got the financing, and set up a laboratory in NYC.
This is usually followed by the story of the Freemasons and Chicklets brought into the world to help another famous Freemason, Santa Ana of the Alamo fame. Santa Ana was released by Sam Houston after giving a sign of distress known among Freemasons. He went back to Mexico for awhile to lead the country, but pretty much went broke. His Masonic friends invited to NYC, and one of them, bro. Wrigley, worked with Santa Ana to bring Chicklets chewing gum (chicle) into being.
‘Hz’ stands for Hertz and is the SI unit for frequency. It is the last name of Heinrich Hertz; a physicist who demonstrated that Maxwell’s theory of electromagnetism is correct. Electromagnetic waves were called Hertzian waves and, later, radio waves.
I can understand the fascination with 3, but what’s the big deal about 6 and 9?

however, in certain esoteric circles, there is an energy that can be felt.
Much of the popular knowledge of Tesla is myth, the exaggeration is so bad it detracts from his real accomplishments. By the early 20th century much of physics had past Tesla by for example he didn’t accept electrons or any subatomic particle, in his view the atom was indivisible, so he didn’t accept the Curies & Becquerel evidence for radioactivity (Since he thought the atom was indivisible, it could have no internal forces, i.e., no nuclear forces!), because had a relatively poor mathematical background he thought Hertz and Maxwell were wrong., etc. I could go on.

I'm quibbling over your use of crystals as an example of Hertz, which they most certainly are not.
