It’s utterly pathetic. I might have wanted kids had I been born 50 or so years earlier, and had I died in WWII I’d have been blessed vs. today witnessing the slow death of our Republic.

Engineering won’t last once science is gone. I remember a news story about a Western engineer or scientist who went to Iran to convince them to make earthquake-resistant buildings. The Iranians were puzzled. If a building collapses during an earthquake it is the will of Allah, so nothing can or should be done.
Science isn’t going to DIE, only the universities that advocate it. Real science can exist without the woke universities that push it. It is they who will die.
