Mmmm. Ever had a raw one? Has to be right out of the ocean, caught fresh and opened and eaten within minutes of removing from the water. Warm, salty and soooo sweet.
We used to go scalloping off of Scraggy Neck on Cape Cod. Most were taken home and cooked different ways but a few were eaten raw. A shear delight.
