The ocean called: They’re running out of shrimp!!!
Today’s adventure: Beau crafted a BEAUTIFUL Oak fireplace mantle for my BFF. It’s taken us a while to get it to her due to covid and all the other cr@p that’s gone on in the past few years. BUT - we got it to them today and installed it and it’s pretty spectacular!
Anyhow, since we were in town we stopped for lunch, but they weren’t quite open yet, so we went to the closest grocery store and they had FABULOUS sales on seafood for the upcoming New Year, so we loaded up with three kinds of shrimp and some scallops.
So, I’ll be celebrating Shrimp Day - but it’ll be next weekend.
