STEINER was an amazing thinker and philosopher. As a young woman I read some of his books. Another really amazing contemporary of his - great thinker and philosopher is Valentin Tomberg.

Both are challenging to read because of the long complicated sentence structures, but worth it for those who trouble to do so.
