Kudos to Young and Anderson deciding to play in this near meaningless bowl. They're backing up what they preached all year about being there for the team. If I was an NFL team needing either one, this decision would raise their draft stock.

I was in the barber shop the other day talking to a guy who claimed to have a close association to AJ McCarron, he said that Alabama had discipline problems in it's ranks this year...particularly amoungst the recievers. He said that they didn't want to do the drills and routine practice. I do remember after one particularly bad game and a bad game for the reciever, Saban said, "the opportunity presented itself and they weren't ready."
(He rarely says such things)I did notice that some of the first people to 'enter' the portal this year were recievers.
He said that TY Simpson would be the starting QB at Alabama in 2023.

So, these guys are finishing the year with their teams. Wow. What heroes.
I love how folks today make heroes out of people doing their job.

Both are expected to be top 5 picks in the NFL draft this spring. I’m sure they have insurance policies to protect them if there’s a catastrophic injury but, as Frank Gore can tell you, no insurance policy is going to completely make up for a torn up knee.
You have to applaud their courage and values. Bravo to them both.
