Finally, my unvaxxed self caught COVID about two weeks ago, and the meeting was uneventful. Horror stories I’d heard seemed even more remote and fictional as I experienced symptoms like a very mild flu. 3 or 4 days cleared it up. I’ve had colds lasting longer.
I’m more convinced than ever that going to an ER and getting admitted is the death sentence.
Yes we’re pretty sure we got covid about 3 mos ago but didn’t bother to get tested because we weren’t that sick. We did experience a persistent cough for 2-3 weeks. We are unvaxxed and take the Zelenko protocol everyday.
The sister, BIL and nephew of Mr. GG2 came down with it about 2 weeks ago and were sick as dogs. The BIL had to be taken to the hospital for a 3 day stay. They were vaxxed in the first round about a year and a half ago.
Last Thursday, I started feeling “something” in my lungs. By Friday, it had progressed to congestion, a slight, kinda deep cough, some head stuffiness, no fever. Saturday I woke up feeling like crap. No headache, but my head felt full and “pressurized”. Kinda dizzy. Tested positive for COVID. Should’ve started earlier, but that day I started with the horse paste. By Sunday, I was feeling better, the head stuffiness was gone, but I had a heck of a sore throat. Today, the sore throat is mostly gone, but I’m still feeling dragged out. Only the occasional cough. No loss of appetite at all. Taste and smell are fine. We’ll see how it goes...
I WAS able to get outside and bag leaves Saturday, plus I got under the house Sunday to point & tuck some foundation cracks. I couldn’t have done any major work though.
Well, me and the “C” finally met.....

I thought you were going to say that you met Nancy Pelosi.
Very slight, but I’m done playing the govt.- Fauci scam game. I suspect we had COVID very early on, back in March of 2020, before tests were even available.
We had bad coughs and slight fevers, but got through it.
I had transplant surgery in May of 2021, and I’m taking an immunosuppressant as well as a few other meds. I’m not letting anyone stick any more “vaccines” in me, other than flu, shingles…
I’m no invalid. I’m doing pretty good, actually.
My daughter nanny’s for a family. She called the other day before coming up for a vacation with us to tell us the girl she nanny’s got Covid. She asked what we wanted her to do?
We told her to pack her bags and come over.
We truly don’t care anymore
Mine began Wednesday with general fatigue and lack of appetite. By early Thursday morning, I was running 100.7° fever. Never was very congested anywhere, just had a headache and general muscle aches. Fever peaked at 102° but never felt that high. By Sunday I was recovered except for some lingering fatique and some coughing.
I’ve had colds lasting longer.
.-.-.-.
Glad for you it wasn’t worse. I had three weeks of almost coughing up a lung.
I never bothered to take my temperature. I should’ve, but hand-to-forehead, there was never any heat. So far, the sore throat has been the worst part. I also tend to load up on Alka Seltzer Plus when I suspect a cold. Right now, my nose is stopped up with some drainage. My voice is also very rough.
Hang in there.
Yeah, Alka Seltzer Plus is my go-to for colds as well. If nothing else, it helps me sleep. Went through a whole box of those.
By now, I imagine most people have some immunity due by having mild exposure to Covid. The latest versions are not as bad. I was a year away from being boosted and it was a cold.
Not only that but the experience itself is awful.
I've had to accompany elderly relatives to the emergency room of a hospital on occasion. It is soul-crushing, to say the least. Many hours will go by before they even see you, unless you are bleeding or literally dying. Meanwhile you are surrounded with televisions showing the most horrid daytime programming you can ever imagine. I've had to go to the hospital gift shop to buy an overpriced dime-store novel to read just to keep my sanity.
AKA "run death is near". It destroys the kidneys. The lungs fill with fluid. SPO2 drops. You get intubated. The flow rate is turned up and destroys the lungs. You die. The hospital collects a big payday for the remdesivir/intubation and clears a bed.
The Vitamin D3/ZInc protocol is also a good idea. I use Zicam for colds/Covid.
The Flu is terrible this year.
PCR with a cycle count around 20 is just fine. Running cycles 28 or higher is just magnifying any crap in the sample to the point that it finds "something". That is just dishonest use of the tool. It isn't looking for virus. It is looking for the S gene RNA sequences.
Not trying to be combative, but I don't think there is any basis for making such a statement. "Not as bad," or never very bad? I think everything is about as it was two years ago, but the political narrative is driving the fiction.
When China first released the bioweapon, we had no natural immunity to it because it previously only affected bats. People were getting Covid then pneumonia then dead. It was a culling disease that killed older people in droves. As we got mild exposures, it started to get better but I still knew people who ended up in ICU or dead.
