I have to make an observation...
Having been a long term alcoholic, the description of taking Niacin, the first “flush” and the following “confident feeling” the rest of the day has strong parallels to alcoholism.
Just a data point I found interesting.
Bill W had niacin as a part of the AA program until it was comped.
If only niacin gave me a “confident feeling”!
To me, taking niacin is just a slightly bothersome task - like going to the dentist - that I do for my health.
