I drove with Uber in the Washington DC metro area for a couple of years, on the night shift. Probably won’t do it again with all of the reports of drivers being murdered, including the one who died in a carjacking in DC last year.
In July 2016 I dropped off a passenger at 4 AM who was going into the Capitol building to work. It’s not far from where Seth Rich was shot at 4:19 AM that same morning.
This story is infuriating and heartbreaking. The victim is the only child of an 83 year old woman whom the victim cared for. I can’t imagine the elderly woman’s grief and fear now that she no longer has her only child/caregiver here with her.
Hope Louisiana has the death penalty.
The world lost a pleasant, honest smile.
Strength to her family and loved ones. May the Good Lord comfort them. She is with The Lord now and in heaven.
Her poor mother. There can be no consolation whatsoever to lose such a motivated and caring daughter, especially by murder, except perhaps that the murderer was neither white nor Republican.
