I was not impressed with the game. The game to watch would have been the Incarnate Word vs Sacramento State. Final score 66 to 63 with four lead changes in the 4th quarter. The Catholic Boys pulled one of two out this weekend.
Holy Cross lost a good one to South Dakota State this afternoon. Score was tied going into the 4th quarter.

Navy’s running game suffered because its QB was playing gimpy. But credit should also be given to Army’s defense, which came up with a scheme to stop it.
It was going to be an interesting game before the Navy QB came up lame: Navy’s offense (its strength) against Army’s defense (its strength).

At least the clock ran like mad and the game didn’t take 4 hours to play. Fastest first quarter of the year I can remember

Army’s special team scored a touchdown on a blocked punt. Did it against Connecticut too.Felt bad for the Navy kid who fumbled at goal line. Same thing happen to army at the end of the game in 2015 or 2016.
To be fair, the ball was stripped.

How did Space Force do this year ?

Even though the playoff for the tie to end it is good for the public sports fan, there is another reason why they should finish it untied. There are Commander’s Trophy numbers to be awarded for the overall determination of the military sports involved. And there are no ties made up in the system.
