You must find a place to “host” images.

There are plenty of them, one example is a Dropbox account.

You have a way to place images on THAT website under your own account, and you can get a URL that will display the image.

You can also “right click” for “Copy Image Address” to use in the FR post.

For example, you open an account with one of the image hosting services. You can find some that will do it for free, or you can pay money. Paying money means less strings attached and often (but not always) more leeway in the content you can post.

When you open an account, you get a folder structure of some kind on a server somewhere that you, and only you can access when you login to the account, usually it is a web page as the interface nowadays.

Then you can grab or create images from wherever you wish and “upload” them to your account on that image hosting system.

There is functionality at that website that allows you to view all your images in thumbnails in some way, and do something like right click (or click a button) to obtain a “URL” that will copy to your computer clipboard a “link” to that image which you can paste in an email, send in a text, or...insert into a thread on FR.

It is all great fun.

"You can also “right click” for “Copy Image Address” to use in the FR post." Yes, this is the easiest method. Use Google Chrome. Others may not allow the Copy Image Address option. After that use this format

Ok. the format didn't take. I'll put it within quotes so you'll know what to do. Just leave off the quotes. ""

I use imgur because it’s integrated into my screenshot app, Spectacle. I click PrtSc which opens the app, draw a rectangle around something and double click, use the drop-down menu to send to imgur and it automatically puts the image url onto my clipboard.

That didn’t work either. So I’ll spell it out further.

Carat above the comma on your keyboard (<)

img space src

Equals symbol (=)

Paste copied image address (usually ending in jpg or png)

Carat above period on your keyboard (>)
