The US has voted against the resolution since 2005, arguing that it hampers commitment to the First Amendment which guarantees freedom of speech and right to peaceful assembly and association. It has also alleged that the resolution is a result of Russian attempts to paint the opposition to its interventions in East and Central European countries as pro-Nazi groupings. Ukraine’s ministry of foreign affairs also alleged a pro-Russian bias in the resolution as the reason for its vote against the resolution. However, Russia sees the abstentions and the votes against the resolution as assertion of right-wing pro-Nazi forces in these countries.

You don’t know it isn’t true. Russia says it is. It has been discussed. Just because they didn’t personally talk to you about it doesn’t mean the government there isn’t looking at it. There is a lot of smoke...I have seen it come up many times but have not yet found the other posts.

I guess it depends, like so many of these discussions, on which media source you choose to believe.
I didn’t post the outright Russian sources because of course you are going to dismiss those.

It might be untrue or you might just not know about it.

Yes, the resolution is that religious institutions working for Moscow are being seized. The traitorous churches will be handed over to Ukrainian Orthodox churches.
We would never have put up with Lutheran Churches preaching Positive Christianity, following orders from Berlin, and praying for German victory over the US
