Christensen, who had been the principal of Huntington Beach elementary schools for 22 years, took his own life Saturday.

The park had been open until midnight Saturday for the annual Candlelight Ceremony, which brings together hundreds of musicians, as well as Disney bigwigs, Theme Park Insider reported.

His death was two days before he was to appear in court on child endangerment and battery charges.

Police believe his death was a suicide, Anaheim police spokesperson Sgt. Shane Carringer told the Los Angeles Times, adding that the coroner’s office will determine the cause of death.

Christensen pleaded not guilty to the charges after his Nov. 15 arrest and was released on $10,000 bail. In a lengthy Facebook note, he blamed the “flawed” legal system for upending his life.

His attorney, Ruben Frias, declined to comment to the newspaper on Monday.

what a POS doing this in a place where children could see his dead body. POS didn’t even have the decency to do it in a private location.

Usually people don’t die in the Magic Kingdom. They are “declared” off-property. At least that was the case in 1996 when I was trained there.

You would have to be rather fragile to kill yourself over what happened.

Whatever his struggles were may he rest in peace.

Pink-haired wife manipulates police and family law, to get revenge on husband after arguments. Quite common for psychologically damaged and low IQ women.

But why did the guy kill himself at his father’s old place of employment. That’s strange.

He probably knew he was about to be exposed...no pun intended...for more than what he was charged with.

Lot more here than seen in the print.
Some things to ponder...
Wife=beard?
Disney is chock-full of gay men, of all ages. Young ones, and the older ones in positions of authority that prey on them.

Did his father fall into the last group and did this have an effect on the suicide’s life.

Facebook post was full of narcissism.

Then again, maybe he was just triggered by the racism so blatant in the Splash Mountain ride. Or perhaps he was saddened by the price tag of a day’s visit to the park.

Agreed. It appears that he was far more troubled in his life than he’s letting on here. Even taking his words on what happened on face value, it’s no reason to take the ultimate selfish act of suicide.
